Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026
This is a general operational privacy notice, not legal advice. The operator must replace the contact placeholder below and have counsel review this policy for the jurisdictions where the service is offered.
Who operates the service
Resell Intel (“Resell Intel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by a sole proprietor and provides the Resell Intel website, Discord bot, control room, and related services (the “Service”). Legal and privacy contact: pwmerriman20@gmail.com. Mailing address: 110 Lorraine Dr, Berkeley Heights, NJ, USA.
Information we collect
- Discord account information returned by OAuth, such as Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the servers you manage.
- Server configuration, including server ID/name, channel mappings, thresholds, filters, source selections, and alert delivery records.
- Bot interaction data, including slash-command activity and optional alert feedback. Feedback is stored using a one-way server-scoped respondent key rather than a raw Discord member ID.
- Billing and subscription identifiers supplied by Stripe, such as customer/subscription IDs and status. Stripe processes payment-card details; Resell Intel does not receive or store full card numbers.
- Technical data needed to secure and operate the Service, such as session-token hashes, timestamps, logs, IP address information provided by hosting infrastructure, and browser cookie data.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate server managers, provide and secure the Service, route alerts, process subscriptions, prevent duplicate or abusive activity, troubleshoot failures, measure alert usefulness, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
The control room uses an HTTP-only session cookie and a short-lived OAuth state cookie. These are essential for sign-in and security. We do not use advertising cookies or non-essential analytics by default. Your browser, Discord, Stripe, and hosting provider may process data under their own policies.
Sharing and service providers
We share information only as needed with Discord for authentication and bot operation, Stripe for checkout and billing management, and hosting, database, monitoring, and security providers that help us run the Service. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the Service, users, or others. We do not share Discord OAuth access tokens with advertisers.
Retention and deletion
Active subscription, server, alert, and configuration records are retained while needed to provide the Service and maintain operational history. Sessions expire automatically; you can sign out to delete the current session. Billing records may need to be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. To request access, correction, or deletion, contact the operator at the address above and identify the server/account involved. We may need to verify the request and may retain information that lawfully must be kept.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including hashed session tokens, server-side secrets, permission checks, signed Stripe webhooks, and HTTPS in production. No system is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and users must meet Discord’s applicable minimum age requirements. If you believe a child provided information unlawfully, contact the operator.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The effective date above will change when we publish a revised version.
